VENMATE release note
Hi everyone,
We are thrilled to inform you about our latest VENMATE update! The past months were driven by setting the scene and building the ground basis for our trial go-live and becoming AI first, soon launching a new VENMATE version.
🏅 New modules and features
Revenue and contract tracking
Revenue can now be managed in VENMATE via contracts. Users have the ability to chose monthly, annual or one-off revenues and can manage their revenues, renewals etc. in more detail.
Revenue KPI reporting can now be changed globally via the settings and KPIs can display MRR, ARR or Total Revenue.
In the account settings, the admin user can switch the leading system for their revenue either to be managed via the CRM and pulled or managed in VENMATE.
What’s next: With the next version, we will add multiple improvements for the revenue management. We will include products into VENMATE to define what was sold to the customers and better manage upselling opportunities. We will also develop a dynamic pricing functionality based on actual usage data and we will enable NRR tracking.

Product usage & survey data
The Zapier x Google connection now automatically pulls every new row or update of the configured Sheet into VENMATE.
We created a new connection to n8n. With this, we are using our Public Api to automatically trigger the upload of product usage and survey data.
The Zapier x Linear connection creates issues in VENMATE via a Linear Zap.
The health score now includes the possibility to analyze and display multiple usage and survey checks from external sources.
What's next: Enable users to build their own data fields and directly connect them to the health score. As well as, keep improving our Zapier and n8n possibilities.

App settings
We developed settings for the health score, creating more transparency and flexibility. Admin users can now edit health score thresholds, change health check by customer segment, adjust the health score group weightings in the app settings.
Whats next: Global custom field creation and the ability to add and edit time components for health checks.

Account settings
Included role management and three roles (Admin, Lead, User).
Improved the management of teams and users. Added departments, team roles and ability to invite new team members.
Established advanced personal notifications (10 predefined checks) and enabled them to be manageable on a personal level.
Added standard system preferences, to be managed by the admin user. Another step of self-maintaining and tool professionalization.
What's next: Improved role based use cases and functionalities as well as embedding notifications to external systems (Slack and Mail).

Activity improvements
Added a commenting function for Issues, Tasks and Activities. This enables users to discuss specific topics and tag other users. Notifications also raise awareness across VENMATE.
Specifically in Activities, users can comment when pulled from the CRM, this helps to keep track of changes that happen outside of VENMATE.
Activities now have a draft function, so users do not lose their data when accidentally closing the activity popup
What’s next: More collaboration features will come with a special focus on the first shareable items in VENMATE (both, to internal users and external parties).
🐞 App improvements & bug fixes
Customer management
The customer management has been improved in different areas. Among others contacts management (individuell notes per contact), Data management (multi usage data for health score) and Health Score performance.
Task management
Users can now multi select tasks and perform actions on multiple items. We also improved the filtering function to chose multiple attributes at the same time.
Issues management
Included the status „declined“ for feature requests and support tickets. As well as, enabled users to assign multiple customers to one issue.
Playbooks
Added feature to calculate the due date timeline per task when using the playbook. Additionally added the functions of delete playbooks, added playbook owner and creation of a task id to improve overall usability.
💫 Sneak peak
Over the past few months, our team has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to take VENMATE to the next level. We’ve listened closely to your invaluable feedback and used it to shape a smarter, more powerful version of our CSM AI Co-Pilot.
